We live on a tract of land that has been in my family for over 100 years. It began as a cotton field under the Lynch's stewardship in the 1920's. The land was later used for rotational crop farming and finally, a cow pasture. We're working to rewild and transform the land into a space that can be used both recreationally and for fostering a natural habitat for rabbit, deer, songbirds, butterfly and honeybees

Why Killingfield? My Dad was a citizen’s band radio enthusiast. He held events that involved lots of radio operators gathering in our large field to see who had the best tuned and amplified mobile radio rigs. The winners were the ones whose signal ‘killed’ everyone else’s. Thus Killingfield.
